Summery:
The Senior MEP Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical coordination, site supervision, and quality assurance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within assigned projects. The role focuses on effective implementation of designs, resolving technical site issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The Senior MEP Engineer provides technical support to junior engineers and subcontractors and contributes to successful project delivery.
Job Duties:
· Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and construction documents for technical accuracy and constructability.
· Coordinate with the site team and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP works as per schedule.
· Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality of MEP installations, materials, and workmanship.
· Assist in resolving technical queries raised during execution in coordination with design consultants or the MEP Manager.
· Support in the review of shop drawings, materials submittals, and method statements.
· Ensure compliance with local codes, project specifications, and applicable safety standards.
· Participate in testing and commissioning activities under the supervision of senior management.
· Maintain documentation and prepare reports related to site progress and issues encountered.
· Attend project meetings as assigned and contribute to coordination between disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university.
- +5 years of relevant MEP engineering experience, preferably in building construction projects.
