As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create cutting-edge mobile experiences for our users.

Job Duties:

Development:

• Develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin or Java, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Architect, design, and implement new features and enhancements for our existing Android applications, considering usability, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to ensure code quality and maintain coding standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers to design and consume APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange between the Android application and server.

Testing and Debugging:

• Perform thorough testing and debugging of Android applications to identify and fix defects, and optimize performance for different devices and OS versions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure comprehensive test coverage, and assist in resolving any issues or bugs identified during testing phases.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Android development, and share knowledge with the team.
• Work closely with designers to implement intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences, ensuring seamless integration of backend services and APIs.
• Proactively identify and propose solutions to technical challenges, and participate in architecture discussions to improve the overall system design.
